On May 13, 2019, the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC) appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. as Claims Adjudicator of the claims submitted to the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents (CFCTA) further to the bankruptcy of the airline carrier WOW Air.
Travelers who have purchased their air ticket from a travel agent having a valid permit in Quebec may benefit from the protection of the CFCTA. The Fund may reimburse tourist services that have been paid but not obtained.
Travelers affected by the closure of WOW Air who have been dealing with a travel agency are invited to forward their claim to the Claims Adjudicator (claim form available in the “Claims” section above).
