Carl left PwC Canada in 2020 as a partner in Toronto to found Virtue Compass Inc., where he now serves as CEO. His organization helps individuals and teams optimize their energy to lead with greater impact. He’s also the author of The Biology of Leadership, ranked #2 on Forbes’ list of top five leadership books to read now and for the future. Congratulations, Carl.
Kristen last worked at PwC Canada in 2018 as Senior Associate in the valuations practice in Toronto. She’s at a leading investment firm specializing in real assets and winner of the 2025 PE Rising Woman Star Award. A champion for gender diversity, she led efforts to hire more women into private equity roles and has been an active member of her firm’s equity, belonging, inclusion, and diversity think tank. Congratulations, Kristen.
Tahir last worked at PwC Canada in 2021 as the National Private Client and Markets Leader and Global Platforms Leader in Vancouver. Since retiring from the firm, he has worked as the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at British Columbia's largest automotive dealership group. This year, he was elected to the Fellowship by the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia. Congratulations, Tahir.
On December 9, 2025, our Vancouver team hosted a memorable mixer bringing together Alumni from the local Mining and Forestry industries. It was a great chance to catch up with old colleagues and meet new faces in the community.
Our Calgary Alumni holiday social hosted on December 3, 2025, brought together our network for an evening of cocktails, appetizers and networking.
Our Waterloo Alumni event hosted at Block Three Brewing Company on November 18 was a perfect opportunity for our PwC Alumni to reconnect with former colleagues, foster new meaningful connections, share experiences, and learn from one another. Don’t miss the next one!
On November 17, 2025, we invited our PwC Alumni based in Calgary to explore the transformative potential of Generative AI (GenAI)—from advanced prompt engineering to real-world applications in Assurance. Helping them walk away with a refreshed perspective and actionable ideas to support their AI journey.
On November 8, 2025, our Québec City team hosted a Tailgate at the grand finale of the Jacques Dussault Cup to cheer on the University of Laval and the University of Montréal football teams! It was an exciting way for us to connect with fellow Alumni in Québec City.
Throughout the fall, we hosted a series of GTA Deals Alumni mixers at 18 York which offered valuable opportunities for reconnection and insightful conversation. The Deals Alumni community had the chance to reconnect with colleagues and catch up with peers and friends. We look forward to growing this Alumni community and staying connected.
On November 3, 2025, our GTA office hosted the Risk Services Alumni event at the 18 York office. It was a great evening of networking and making meaningful connections.
On October 21, 2025, our GTA office hosted the annual Retired & Alumni Partner event at PwC’s 18 York office. Vik Sachdev welcomed the group, while Lana Paton, Vice-Chair and Managing Partner, GTA & SWO region and Nicolas Marcoux, PwC Canada’s CEO and Senior Partner, provided a brief firm update and the latest developments at PwC Canada.
On October 16, 2025, our Halifax office hosted their Atlantic Canada Alumni Marquee event at Little Fish Wine Bar & Grill. Alumni attendees reconnected over delicious food and cocktails.
