Tim Cox, CPA, CA

Tim is a Tax Partner based in PwC Canada’s London Ontario office, with over 20 years of experience as a tax specialist serving clients across Southwestern Ontario. He helps organizations navigate complex tax requirements and identify planning opportunities, working closely with clients to ensure tax returns are accurately prepared and filed on a timely basis. Tim also delivers tailored tax advisory solutions designed to support clients’ strategic and commercial objectives.

Tim works with a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed companies to large public multinationals, providing tax support for their compliance requirements and implementing strategic tax consulting solutions at all levels of growth. Tim works closely with private corporation owners providing tax efficient solutions to optimize organizational structure, distribute earnings and prepare for divestitures through share or asset sales or through succession and estate planning.

Prior to rejoining PwC in 2017, Tim managed the Canadian tax group at a major automotive manufacturer. Tim has also contributed to the profession through teaching roles at the college and university levels as well as instructing the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s In‑Depth Tax Program. Tim is a past President of the Windsor Chartered Professional Accountant Association and a former executive member of CPA Ontario’s Emerging Leaders Council, where he supported initiatives focused on developing future CPAs and helping shape the future of the profession.
