Applying to our campus opportunities

Our application process

*Steps may differ depending on role

1. Meet PwC

Check out our campus events calendar regularly where you’ll get the opportunity to be your authentic self while learning how our community of solvers innovate and solve important problems each day.

Helpful tips:

  • Research PwC Canada and the area of business you’re interested in.

  • Check out our social channels to get a feel for our culture and sign up to our Campus Talent Community.

2. Apply online

Browse the open positions at our firm to find the opportunity you’re most interested in and be sure to read the job description for further instructions.

You’ll complete an online application and upload your resume or CACEE form and unofficial transcript. No cover letter is required.

Online application tips:

  • Apply to the office and area of business that interests you most. You can only submit one application in each application round and 90 days must have elapsed since your last application.
  • Use a personal email address in your application rather than a school email address to ensure (i) you have continued access to your email account and (ii) our emails land in your inbox rather than a spam folder.
  • Responses will only be saved as you click “Next” to move onto the next page. If you need to revert to previous pages, we recommend clicking “Next” first to save your responses up until that point, and then you can go back to previous pages.
  • When attaching your transcript, please make sure you only attach your most recent transcript and no other accompanying documents. In addition, if you uploaded your resume/CV/CACEE Form in the “Quick Apply” and/or “Resume/CV” section, make sure no other documents have been added to those uploads. Attaching other documents in these sections will compromise our review and may delay your application.

3. Interview

Final interviews may take place in one of our offices or on campus and are as much about us getting to know you as they’re about you getting to know us.

Helpful tips:

  • Get ready to answer behavioural questions and to share examples using the STAR method (situation, task, action, result).

  • Review the PwC Professional dimensions and think about situations where you’ve demonstrated these.

  • Prepare questions you’d like to ask us. We’d like to know how we can help you in your decision-making process.

  • Dress appropriately, business casual is fine.

4. Celebrate!

Congratulations! If you’ve impressed us throughout the process, you’ll get an offer to join our team.

What our employees are saying

“What stood out to me in the application process was how much PwC Canada cared about us. It showed when they demonstrated how well they understood some of our personal problems. As an intern, the whole application process was new and foreign, but PwC helped relieve any stress I had while interviewing and meeting new people. All while helping us interns figure our way, it was evident to see the importance of continuous learning and improvement of personal skill sets, which helped me understand the workplace culture at PwC.”

Mikhail,Intern, Assurance

“The application process for summer internships was very straightforward and fairly easy. Everyone involved made me very comfortable when applying and provided the needed information and advice. What I really found great about PwC was that the partners and high-level employees made time to network with us from the start. As a newcomer this made the PwC work environment seem very inclusive to employees of all levels. This was definitely one of the reasons that influenced me to want to work at PwC!”

Nimrat,Intern, Assurance

“My experience during the PwC Canada application process was unlike other applications. It was filled with great and meaningful connections from the PwC team. The process was easy to follow because of the detailed instructions. The best part was receiving a call from the Director who conducted my interview. He personally congratulated me. It made me feel valued and part of the firm. PwC embraces its values, which are reflected in its staff's attitude and culture. It encourages success and cooperation. I am very grateful and thankful for the opportunity and the incredible experience.”

Candidate feedback report FAQs

We support our employees' learning and development by regular coaching and feedback. To help you get the most out of this process, an automatic feedback report with relevant insights will be sent to you after you complete the on-demand video interview and games. The report describes your work-related competencies based on your responses and provides tips for your development.

The candidate feedback report is automatically generated from your interactions with the games platform. The games are analyzed to identify patterns that could lead to success in the role.

Once your insights are calculated, you'll receive an email with a hyperlink inviting you to view your candidate feedback report. This link is the only way to access the report.
