Status of the file as at January 12, 2026

On January 12, 2026 the Receiver filed is First Report to inform the Court of the Receiver's activities and seek approval of the following:

  • Receiver's activities, including fees and disbursements of the Receiver and its legal counsel;
  • Proposed sale of the properties;
  • Final distribution to Servus Credit Union;
  • Discharging the Receiver effective upon the Receiver's Completion Affidavit;and,
  • Temporary sealing of the Confidential Addendum.

Status of the file as at July 18, 2025

The Receiver has engaged Avison Young to market and sell the property located at 4918-50 Avenue, Niton Junction, AB. Any parties interested in purchasing the property should reach out to Reed Newnham (reed.newnham@avisonyoung.com) and James Robertson (james.robertson@avisonyoung.com)

Status of the file as at May 1, 2025

On May 1, 2025, PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. was appointed Receiver of SRAD Retail Ltd. (“SRAD” or the “Company”) pursuant to an Order granted by the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. A copy of the Receivership Order can be accessed under the Court Orders tab of this website.
