On April 3, 2025, an order was granted by the Court of King's Bench of Alberta ("Receivership Order") appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. as Receiver of Wabamun Checkpoint Inc., 2243811 Alberta Ltd., 2279657 Alberta Ltd. and 1286885 B.C. Ltd. (collectively referred to herein as the "Companies"); however, the Receivership Order was temporarily stayed from coming into force. The stay was deemed to have been lifted on May 5, 2025, such date being the effective date of the Receivership. A copy of the Receivership Order can be accessed under the Court Orders tab of this website.
