Status of file as of September 10, 2019

On September 10, 2019, following the filing of a motion by the Debtors, the Superior Court of Québec issued an order approving the sale transaction between Sural Laminated Products of Canada Inc. and Alubar Metals Inc. of the plant located at 6900 Raoul-Duchesne Boulevard in Bécancour, Qu/bec. Status of file as of August 30, 2019

On August 30, 2019, following the filing of a motion by the Debtors, the Superior Court of Québec issued an order approving a fourth extension of the Initial Stay of Proceedings Period against Sural Laminated Products of Canada Inc. and Sural Québec until November 1, 2019. On June 28, 2019, following the filing of a motion by the Debtors, the Superior Court of Québec issued an order approving a third extension of the Initial Stay of Proceedings Period against Sural Laminated Products of Canada Inc. and Sural Québec until August 30, 2019. Status of file as of June 3, 2019

With regard to the application for directions and certain orders (carriers) made on March 19, 2019 by the Debtors, the Monitor has reached a settlement with certain transportation companies that were holding up the collection of the Debtors' outstanding receivables. As such, the Monitor withdrew its Application for Directions. Please refer to the section Court Motions and Orders for a copy of the Application for the Homologation of the Transactions as well as the Order that homologated the Transactions, dated June 3, 2019.

On May 10, 2019, following the filing of a motion by the Debtors, the Superior Court of Québec issued an order approving the extension of the Stay of Proceedings Period against Sural Laminated Products of Canada Inc. and Sural Québec until June 28, 2019. Status of file as of March 25, 2019

On March 19, 2019, the Debtors filed in Court an application for directions and certain orders (carriers) that will be heard on April 9, 2019, at 9.00 a.m., room 16.04 at the Montréal Courthouse. We refer you to the motion dated March 19, 2019 for more details.

On March 25, 2019, following the filing by the Debtors of a motion, the Superior Court of Québec rendered an order authorizing Sural Québec Inc. to enter into a debtor-in-possession financing (DIP) to enable the Monitor to ensure the preservation of the Debtor’s assets. On March 11, 2019, following the filing of a motion by the Debtors, the Superior Court of Québec issued an order approving the extension of the Initial Stay of Proceedings Period against Sural Laminated Products of Canada Inc. and Sural Québec Inc. until May 15, 2019. Status of file as of February 11, 2019 

Sural Laminated Products of Canada Inc. and Sural Québec Inc. (the ''Debtors'') filed a petition under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (“CCAA”). The Superior Court of Québec granted the petition and issued an Initial Order pursuant to the CCAA on February 11, 2019. The Debtors are now under the protection of the CCAA and the Initial Order provides for an initial stay of all proceedings until March 11, 2019 inclusively and appoints PricewaterhouseCoopers as monitor of the business and financial affairs of the Debtors.
