Following the Court hearing on November 19, 2025, referenced below, the Court granted an Amended and Restated Receivership Order increasing the existing permitted sale transaction limits. A further hearing has been scheduled for December 11, 2025 to hear the bankruptcy application, and seek approval of the Receiver's activities to date. A copy of the Amended and Restated Receivership Order can be found under the Court Orders tab.
The Receiver will be issuing a further report ahead of the December 11, 2025 hearing which will be make available under the Receiver's Report tab.
The Receiver has made an application to the Court which will be heard on November 19, 2025. The application seeks:
The Receiver has filed its first report in relation to this application, a copy of which can be found under the "Receiver's Reports" tab. A copy of the application materials can be found under the "Court Materials" tab.
In accordance with paragraph 9 of the Receivership Order (found under Court Orders), the Receiver and the British Columbia Ministry of Environment and Parks have agreed to extend the stay on the Pollution Prevention Order to October 6, 2025.
We have had a number of former employees of Fraser Valley Renewables Ltd. and Fraser Valley Agri Waste Solutions Ltd. reach out to the Receiver asking for their record of employment (“ROE”). The Receiver is in the process of gaining access to the payroll records of Fraser Valley Renewables Ltd. and Fraser Valley Agri Waste Solutions Ltd. to prepare and issue the ROEs.
Further, access to the payroll records will enable the Receiver to prepare pre-populated Proof of Claim forms for the former employees and assist them in filing any eligible claims under the Wage Earners Protection Program Act (“WEPPA”). Further instructions for employees regarding the WEPPA process will be communicated to you via email in due course.

On August 21, 2025, the Supreme Court of British Columbia granted an Order appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. ("PwC") as the Receiver without security, of all of the assets, undertakings and property of Fraser Valley Renewables Ltd., Fraser Valley Agri Waste Solutions Ltd., Huntingdon Agricultural Ltd. and 1315390 B.C. Ltd. and certain real property of Matthew Blair Grier Malkin. The Order can be found under the Court Order section.
