Status of file as of July 18, 2025

On July 18, 2025, the Centre d’hébergement et de soins de longue durée des Îles-de-la-Madeleine Inc. was declared bankrupt following the filing of an assignment by PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., in its capacity as Receiver appointed by the Court.

The first meeting of creditors will be held on August 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (Montreal time) by videoconference, which access link is available on demand by communicating with the trustee at the address: ca_pwc_qc@pwc.com.

Status of file as of March 28, 2025

On March 28, 2025, following a request of the Receiver, the Superior Court of Quebec rendered an Approval and Vesting Order in connection with the proposed transactions between the Debtors and Santé Québec, as well as a Distribution Order.

Status of file as of November 27, 2024

On November 27, 2024, a Request of the Receiver for recovery of funds has been presented to the Superior Court of Quebec. The decision has been adjourned for further consultation and the resulting order will be posted on this site when available.
