On June 26, 2026, the Superior Court of Québec issued an order pursuant to which the Court ordered the Receiver to notify potential creditors related to the construction project located at 280 rue de la Cabinetterie in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec (the “Project”), in the receivership proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act of Groupe Guy Samson Inc. (“GGS”), and to establish a claims process.
Any person who believes that they hold a claim or debt, of any nature whatsoever, present or future, certain or contingent, liquidated or unliquidated, whether payable immediately or at a later date, arising from any obligation incurred by GGS or COS Construction Inc. in connection with the Project, must file a proof of claim with the Receiver by completing and submitting the claim form available in the “Claims Process” section of this website, no later than August 14, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. (Montréal time) (the “Claims Bar Date”).

On November 6, 2025, at the request of the secured creditor Business Development Bank of Canada, PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., Licensed Insolvency Trustee, became receiver of certain assets belonging to Groupe Guy Samson Inc., following an order of the Superior Court of Quebec.
