On September 6, 2024, the Receiver filed its First and Final Report to the Court seeking, among other things, approval of the sale of the Assets to Brandstrom Engineering Ltd., approval of the Receiver's activities, approval of the final statement of receipts and disbursements, approval of the fees and disbursements of the Receiver and its legal counsel, authorization to pay the net sale proceeds into Court, and the discharge of the Receiver.
On September 19, 2024, the Alberta Court of King’s Bench granted orders approving the sale of the assets, the Receiver's activities, the final statement of receipts and disbursements, and the fees and disbursements of the Receiver and its legal counsel. The Order also authorized the payment of net sale proceeds into Court and provided for the Receiver's discharge upon the filing of its Completion Affidavit.
On January 22, 2024, an order was granted by the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., LIT as receiver and manager of all current and future assets, undertakings, and properties of Tuf-Bar Inc.
