Participants joined the Connected Solutions team at the Wynn daily, January 5-7, to explore how PwC is delivering industry leading IoT solutions that improve lives, workplaces, and organizational efficiencies built around security, privacy and trust. Live demonstrations were provided on:

PwC and Microsoft Experience

Attendees experienced firsthand how data, IoT, cloud and mixed reality bridge the physical and digital worlds — transforming industries from entertainment to manufacturing and more with Microsoft's HoloLens. Then they witnessed how connected experiences convert viewers into loyal customers through streaming, advertising, second screen experiences and other digital channels.

Variety Metaverse Panel

Our Global Metaverse Leader, Roberto Hernandez, moderated the thought-provoking panel discussion, In the Zeitgeist: Metaverse Strategies for the Media and Entertainment Industry, on January 6 from 2:50pm - 3:30pm. The session was presented at Variety's Entertainment Summit, which took place at the ARIA Convention Center (Joshua 9 Ballroom) during CES 2023.

Session overview:

How might the expanding metaverse – encompassing gamification, NFTs and other pieces to the burgeoning virtual landscape – become a key driver for entertainment industry growth? As legacy entertainment companies and tech start-ups alike sharpen metaverse strategies, what are the opportunities for the larger creative community? Leading game, film, TV, music executives and their partners converged to talk about what comes next for metaverse technologies and concepts as they mature from shiny new objects to enduring creative tech.

Fireside chat: Innovations powering connected experience

We are surrounded by sensors, trackers and cameras that bridge the physical and digital worlds to create remarkable experiences. PwC and ZF at Microsoft Booth

Visitors of the Microsoft booth on the CES Automotive floor heard how PwC and ZF, global technology automotive supplier, transformed their 190+ manufacturing facilities. With ZF's Digital Manufacturing Program—built on Azure cloud with PwC’s Factory Intelligence solution—they can now ingest and analyze data from plants in different countries through advanced analytics, visualizations and automated workflows.
