PwC's shadow experience
Interested in what it is like to be a Partner or Principal? Wonder what it is like to manage a large engagement team? The shadowing experience allows interns to see various levels of the firm and gain insight to how their roles and responsibilities vary.
For PwC, we’re driven by our purpose, to build trust in society and solve important problems. It’s embedded in every facet of what we do -- from acting with integrity in our work so we can help build a stronger marketplace to helping our clients adapt to an ever-changing world. Responsible Business Leadership (formerly Corporate Responsibility) is one of many ways our purpose comes to life — it’s how we use our skills, technology and resources to address the growing gap between those who have access to opportunity and those who don’t.
We do this in many ways, including Access Your Potential, our signature education commitment that creates inspiring technology experiences for diverse students to ignite their passion for technology, helping close a critical gap that keeps female, Black and Latino students from succeeding in tech-focused careers.
Intern networking events
Building relationships is essential to being a successful leader. At PwC, we feel strongly that the internship fosters new relationships that will last for the rest of your career. PwC provides various networking activities to allow our interns to build their network and experience the PwC Culture.
The International Intern Experience is your opportunity to immerse yourself in PwC’s global network through shadowing PwC professionals abroad. Selected interns will will be paired with a current US assignee abroad to experience life inside the world’s leading professional services firm. Selected interns will begin their winter/spring or summer internship in their respective home office on their market designated start date and will attend local training with their intern peer group. This will be followed by a one week international assignment abroad. Upon completion of this experience, interns will return to their local office to complete their winter/spring or summer internship. All work visas, housing and travel arrangements will be paid by PwC.
Select interns spend two days meeting with members of our US and Extended Leadership Teams, including Tim Ryan, US Chairman and Senior Partner of the US firm. This experience provides interns the opportunity to understand leadership’s vision for PwC US and begin building relationships with the leaders of the firm.
