Step 2: Your application

As you prepare to apply, check the requirements below, as some of our positions have application deadlines.

When to apply

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. For many of our opportunities, we recruit on a rolling basis. Available locations will close as offers are accepted.

Where to apply

Visit our Entry Level jobs site to view available internship and full-time associate positions. Explore our interactive Student Development Programs quiz for available program opportunities.

After the application

For most entry level roles at PwC, job seekers are required to complete an assessment to be considered for the role. After you submit an application for an entry-level position, you should expect to receive the assessment via email within a few hours. For roles that require the assessment, your application is not considered complete until you submit both your application and complete the assessment. Please keep this timing in mind as you prepare to apply. We strongly encourage you to complete the assessment as soon as possible. Click here to view assessment FAQs.

Step 3: Prepare for your interview

Our recruiting process allows you to get a feel for our culture, our people and available opportunities. If you are selected for an interview, we’ll reach out to you to schedule live, virtual interviews with PwC professionals.

We leverage technology during the interview process to provide you with increased flexibility for interviews. Learn more about how to prepare for your virtual interview here

For Audit, Tax, and Digital Assurance and Transparency (DAT)  roles, you will complete two behavioral interviews back-to-back live, virtually.

For Advisory roles, you will be informed of your interview process at the time of your interview invitation. The majority of our Advisory positions require a case interview as part of the interview process. Learn more about PwC's case interview process here.

Interview questions

Prepare for your interview by reviewing the PwC Professional framework. During the interview experience you will have an opportunity to showcase your educational background, skills and experiences.

Please note, the use of GenAI during the assessment and interview process is not permitted. We strive for both integrity and equity during the PwC hiring process. As such, it is important that candidates provide information throughout our process that accurately reflects their own unique skills and qualifications. Click here to review outlined our guidance for the use of GenAI as a job seeker at the firm.

The application process FAQs

How do I search for available opportunities? Visit pwc.to/entryleveljobs to view available positions. For example, to search for open summer 2026 opportunities, type “summer 2026” or your preferred start year into the “keyword/job ID” search bar at the top of the page.
Can I apply to more than one position? Candidates are encouraged to review roles and apply to those they are qualified for based on the job description details and have true interest in pursuing. Any and all applications indicate your equal interest in each position.
What does it mean if a position says “Winter” in the title?

Internship opportunities labeled “Winter” run January - March or April and require full-time availability during standard business hours Monday-Friday. We do not recommend being enrolled in classes while completing a winter internship. Winter internships are typically completed one year prior to graduation.

Associate opportunities labeled “Winter” will typically have a start date in January. These are full-time opportunities available only after you’ve completed your degree.

PwC’s application asks me to “Provide the date you expect to complete the degree requirement listed within the job description” - what does that really mean?

Eligibility for PwC’s entry level opportunities are, in part, dependent upon when you plan to complete any consecutive years of education and will be eligible to begin working full-time. Within your application, you should provide your final graduation date, taking into account any graduate degree programs you plan to attend or have attended.

For example, if you are currently in an undergraduate degree program but intend to enroll in a Masters program immediately following completion of that degree, please put the date that you would expect to complete your Masters degree in your application.

How do I select my preferred work location? When completing the entry-level application, you will be required to specify your preferred PwC office. Please review the job description of the position you are applying for, as it will outline the cities that are available for that particular role. Learn more about how we work here.
How do I submit my application? Review all opportunities and then click on the link for the position(s) in which you’re interested. After reviewing the position(s) in further detail, including available office locations, select "Apply" if you would like to apply and submit your interest. Do not submit your resume on your school/university career website. Please note that winter internships are full-time opportunities.
Will I need to provide a current resume? Yes, you will be asked to upload a current resume when applying. Resumes should be submitted as a PDF to maintain formatting and we recommend including the word ‘Resume’ in the document name.
Do I need to submit a cover letter? No, you are not required to submit a cover letter alongside your resume as part of the application process.
What is rolling recruitment? For most of our opportunities, we recruit on a rolling basis. This means that when our roles open up, we accept applications on an ongoing basis by location and close them as offers are accepted and positions are filled. We highly recommend individuals to apply early to increase their chances of being considered for the position.
Is there a deadline to apply?

Select opportunities remain available and we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Visit https://pwc.to/us-application-deadlines to view PwC US application deadlines.

Does PwC’s application process include an assessment? Yes, for most entry-level roles at PwC, job seekers are required to complete an assessment to be considered for the role. The following entry-level positions do not require a job seeker to complete an assessment: senior associate intern and senior associate full-time positions; seasonal and fixed term positions; and specialist roles. Click here to view assessment FAQs.
I'll need H-1B sponsorship now or in the future - how does that impact my application? PwC currently is not hiring experienced or entry level job seekers who will need, now or in the future, PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth here.
