PwC Celebrates its eight Elijah Watt Sells Award honorees

The Elijah Watt Sells (EWS) Award, established in 1923 by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), recognizes outstanding performance on the Uniform CPA exam. This award honors individuals who pass and score above 95.5 across all four sections of the CPA exam on their first attempt.

In 2022, nearly 67,000 people sat for the CPA exam, with only 50 candidates meeting the award criteria. Of the recipients of the EWS Award, PwC US is proud to celebrate its eight honorees. Our firm has the most recipients among the Big 4, a clear reflection of the caliber of our talent and the firm’s commitment to excellence in the accounting profession.

The Elijah Watt Sells Award is one of the most prestigious and competitive awards in the accounting field.

PwC’s eight recipients are a reflection of our talent and the firm’s commitment to excellence. PwC continues to establish itself as an employer of choice, and our EWS Award recipients are testament to the talent of our accountants and excitement for the future of the CPA profession.
