Complex business problems require innovative solutions. That's why here at PwC we frequently partner with SAP when we engage with clients undertaking major projects such as enterprise-wide digital transformations. We’re a Platinum Partner with SAP and in 2020 we won 15 SAP awards around the globe, thanks to the depth and breadth of our work with the SAP platform.
Our work with SAP has brought us to an amazing position, and we believe that our two organizations partner together to offer a unique value proposition, combining PwC’s deep sector expertise and business-led perspective with SAP’s innovation-powering software. It’s the perfect formula upon which to build a backbone for transformation, and our clients seem to agree. Our SAP practice has seen tremendous growth over the past several years, and we continue to be thrilled to be working with our clients, leveraging SAP to help them solve their most important business issues.
Each year, SAP asks partner organizations to submit their most compelling projects to be considered for the SAP Innovation Awards, which are designed to showcase inspirational customer and partner stories that are built on the SAP platform. These awards are given to recipients (20 winners in all) who showcase best how they are creating value, contributing to the community, and improving the way people work. In each of these cases, the winners must demonstrate how they are harnessing the power of SAP products and technologies and using them to drive innovation.
This year, I’m proud to announce that our PwC teams have submitted an impressive 18 stories for consideration, more than any other Big 4 firm and nearly all other competitors. PwC is actively innovating with the entire spectrum of the SAP suite of solutions, well beyond Finance, including S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Hybris, and more. This year, we’re showcasing projects where we’ve been able to deliver consistent and outstanding outcomes for our clients through a wide range of accelerators, methodologies and solutions, all built on top of SAP technology. From enabling a client’s digital supply chain to leveraging blockchain for material traceability at another, we’re proud to be driving innovation for our clients as we help them make strides toward the digital transformation of their businesses.
SAP’s platform aligns perfectly with PwC’s BXT (Business, eXperience, Technology) methodology, a unique approach to business innovation that reframes digital transformation along three key functional areas. With BXT, we fold strategy, design and technology together into a holistic and cohesive solution that is designed to rapidly turn ideas into high-performing tangible products. And SAP is a key player that helps us connect those dots in ways that no one else can.
The 2021 SAP Innovation Awards finalists will be announced on March 17, 2021, with winners revealed on April 14. Winners gain global recognition as innovation leaders – and we are hopefully looking forward to once again being among them.
