It’s important to get started on that road soon. Customers with older versions of SAP’s HCM and finance software, will need to migrate by 2027, though customers who have an on-premise HCM and FI system and upgrade to S/4HANA implementation can still get support through 2030. The overall message from SAP is clear: Upgrade to the cloud as soon as possible to avoid disruption.
