PwC earned first place in the 2026 T-Mobile Innovate Awards for its patent-pending multimodal AI.
The capability unifies real-time data with enterprise knowledge, governed by AI harnesses that know when to act, ask, or escalate.
The potential impact could be millions in client value by cutting friction and empowering frontline workers.
The award recognizes our work developing a patent-pending multimodal AI capability that can connect real-time signals from customers, products, and field operations with trusted enterprise context, frontier AI reasoning, and governed action. Our approach preserves relevant context across each action and interaction. It applies enterprise judgment, permissions, and policies as AI and people work across customer touchpoints, physical environments, and enterprise systems.
Think about the last time you needed urgent help as an employee or customer. Did you call the shared service team, send an email blast, or contact a specific department and explain your issue? By the time a specialist was assigned, did you have to repeat yourself and waste valuable time?
This fragmentation isn't just frustrating for stakeholders. It's also expensive for enterprises. Today's customer and business experiences are scattered across edge devices, digital and analog channels, AI chatbots, voice calls, and more. When people move across any of these, they often lose context. Human and AI agents need to catch up to perform. Problems that should take minutes take hours. Moments that require human judgment get buried under friction.
At scale, this fragmentation can compound into unnecessary escalations, inconsistent experiences, lost revenue, and avoidable operating costs
We built something different.
Our capability can connect multimodal signals across voice, vision, digital interactions, and edge devices with trusted enterprise data, knowledge, and business context.
At the center is the common brain, an enterprise context layer that continuously brings together relevant customer, product, operational and transactional context and makes it available to AI agents and people as they understand, reason and act.
But context alone is not enough. As AI gains the ability to act, enterprises also need a way to encode judgment around that action. AI harnesses provide this layer by incorporating policies, permissions, business rules, risk thresholds and elements of an organization's code of conduct. They help determine not only what an AI agent can do, but when it should act, ask for clarification, select another capability or involve a human.
Together, the common brain and harnesses create a continuous intelligence cycle: sense what is happening, understand it in enterprise context, reason with the relevant AI capability, take governed action and learn from the outcome.
People remain integral to this intelligence cycle. Everyday work generates specialized institutional knowledge, judgment and feedback that may not exist in enterprise systems or general-purpose models. The brain can capture those human signals alongside customer, product and operational context, turning knowledge that might otherwise disappear at the end of an interaction into reusable enterprise intelligence.
The capability is built to be omnipresent and multimodal and intelligently chooses the most helpful way to assist and act at each moment.
T-Mobile's nationwide 5G network and enterprise mobility capabilities provide an important foundation for these edge-to-enterprise experiences, enabling voice, video, images, telemetry and AI-enabled interactions to move reliably between devices, people and enterprise systems. High-quality connectivity becomes increasingly important as AI moves from asynchronous digital interactions toward real-time multimodal experiences
Across related client transformations, we're already collaborating on transformations projected to generate nearly hundreds of millions in combined business impact by streamlining field operations, accelerating issue resolution, and reducing operational friction
These outcomes reflect a fundamental shift. When AI maintains context across every interaction, organizations can deliver faster resolutions, higher satisfaction, and more consistent experiences. Frontline employees can focus on their core responsibilities instead of managing friction and catch-up conversations.
The T-Mobile for Business Innovate Awards recognize innovation that delivers bold, transformative thinking with real-world, measurable results. We're honored to receive this recognition and this validation confirms that the future of enterprise engagement is not about replacing human connection with automation. It's about connecting intelligence, edge to enterprise context and human judgement across full experience.
