PwC is proud to announce our new societal commitment, The Human Skills Project—a three-year initiative to build the human skills our people and our communities need to thrive alongside transformative technology, boosting resilience and extending impact to the evolving workforce in our communities.
Through this initiative, PwC aims to contribute 1 million service hours, reach 250,000 learners, and share key insights through thought leadership—helping to strengthen the workforce, deepen client relationships, and uplift the communities we serve.
“We believe human skills—like empathy, creativity, and relationship building—are what will set people apart in an AI-enabled world,” said Yolanda Seals-Coffield, PwC US Chief People and Inclusion Officer. “This commitment is about helping the workforce of today and tomorrow grow with confidence and purpose, while deepening our relationships with clients and our impact in the communities we serve.”
Our people and our programming will be central to bringing this commitment to life over the next three years. With 40 hours of dedicated utilized time each year, PwC employees and Partners will have meaningful opportunities to volunteer, mentor, and serve—contributing directly to our societal goals while growing the human skills that matter.
Alongside this, work with innovating organizations like Taproot Foundation, Year Up United and Junior Achievement, and The PwC Foundation’s grantmaking and strategic support, we will help scale impact, deepen client and community relationships, and make sure our efforts reach those who need it.
“As I step into my role as The PwC Foundation President, I’m energized by the opportunity to help bring our new societal commitment to life,” said Tracee Jones, PwC US. “Building on more than $250 million in grants already supporting our communities, the Foundation will fund and strategically support nonprofits advancing human skills, scale innovative programs, foster shared learning, and expand volunteer opportunities—so together, we can drive lasting impact where it’s needed most.”
Together, we are at the leading edge in developing human skills in our people, in our communities and in the workforce, building a more resilient future. Visit our website to learn more about our new commitment.
