When our communities need it most, we rally

By offering multiple ways to give and to support each other through crowdfunders, our people are coming together to help address major local needs.

How we're giving

We gave to the Cause Portfolio

We give to the Cause Portfolio

Supporting community crisis response

We set up a COVID-19 Cause Portfolio as a  transparent and easy way for PwC partners and staff to give across six vetted charities supporting a cause in entirety rather than a single organization. This group of national nonprofits are helping to provide direct relief in food access, healthcare worker support and finding medical solutions both in crisis response, as well as ongoing local support.

PwC donors to the portfolio receive monthly stories of how their donation is being put to work.

Helping to fill immediate education needs

Our PwC people are supporting nonprofits and each other through crowdfunders on PwC’s giving site. For example, Gabriela Valencia, a manager in our Advisory practice, started a crowdfunder for Latino Education Achievement Foundation, an organization helping to provide internet, school materials, laptops, and meals to families in need and make education accessible during COVID-19. 60% of the families they serve don’t have at-home internet access, making it difficult for students to continue their education remotely. This is just one of the 300+ crowdfunders started by our people to help support our local communities.

By the numbers

When our communities need it most, we rally.

Who we’re supporting

  • educators
  • essential workers
  • the unemployed
  • medical research
  • distance learning in underserved communities
  • and more!

We believe that the stronger our communities are, the stronger our clients and our business can be. And strength in our communities starts with a more resilient and diverse workforce. This is why we’re focused on helping those most at risk of being left behind, gain the skills and resources they need to thrive in a digital world. Learn more.
