Using a business aircraft for an employee’s commuting has tax consequences to both the employee and employer.  Since the 2017 tax reform act, an employer’s deduction for expenses for employee commuting, including commuting flights, are disallowed unless the expenses are necessary to ensure the safety of the employee.
