Overview

Employers may have difficulty reporting personal flights on employer-provided aircraft on an employee’s Form W-2 at year-end because the information needed to calculate value may not be available. IRS Ann. 85-113 provides special guidelines for reporting and withholding on noncash fringe benefits, including personal use of company aircraft, that may be helpful.
