Digital integration and architecture

Overview

When architecture is fragmented, integration becomes a barrier to growth, speed, and competitiveness. Legacy, cloud, and AI systems don’t work together automatically. Left unmanaged, they multiply technical debt, create data blind spots, and slow delivery. We build the connective tissue that turns your ecosystem into a competitive asset, not a liability. Through modern protocols, proven architecture patterns, and AI-accelerated delivery, we help you get to value faster and stay there longer.

Capabilities

Industry-aligned architecture and AI strategy

Integration strategy starts with business outcomes, not technology preferences. Our teams bring deep experience across healthcare, financial services, life sciences, consumer markets, industrial products, retail, and technology. We define target-state architectures that help connect your strategic priorities to integration and AI investments—reflecting your industry's regulatory and operational realities. AI accelerates execution through pattern generation, gap analysis, and impact-focused roadmaps.

Integration readiness and data strategy assessment

Before building, you need to know where you stand. We assess your current integration capabilities, identify what’s blocking scale, and co-develop a business-aligned roadmap to close gaps, support growth, and build the case for investment. You get clear priorities and a practical path forward—not a strategy deck without next steps.

Integration Center of Excellence (CoE) and accelerator

Sustainable integration requires governance that doesn't slow teams down. We help you establish an Integration CoE with clear operating models, standards, and governance for APIs, events, and integrations—including modern AI-native patterns like Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols and Model Context Protocol (MCP). Reusable frameworks and workforce planning help your teams deliver faster with consistency and lower risk.

Architecture blueprints and reusable pattern

Point-to-point integrations create fragile systems. We establish scalable integration architectures using proven blueprints that go beyond REST APIs and traditional middleware—spanning event-driven integration, AI agent communication, and modern protocols across legacy, cloud, and SaaS platforms. Security, compliance, and operability are built in from the start, enabling consistent execution as your ecosystem evolves.

API factory delivery and managed services

Building integrations at scale requires repeatable execution. Our API factory model combines standardized delivery, reusable assets, and pre-built connectors across platforms such as MuleSoft (Salesforce), AWS, and Workday. From initial build through ongoing operations, we provide automated testing, monitoring, incident response, and lifecycle management so your teams can move faster while improving reliability over time.

Use cases

An industrial products and services manufacturer needed to unify ERP systems inherited through acquisitions while maintaining business continuity and limiting integration sprawl.

We helped design and deliver a MuleSoft (Salesforce)-based hybrid integration platform and established a center for enablement to standardize how integrations are built, secured, and governed. Reusable API patterns and consistent security controls reduced ERP complexity, sped up onboarding of newly acquired systems, and supported continued growth.

One of the world’s leading alternative investment firms was looking to standardize processes to keep up with rapid growth. Manual, email-driven transaction and reporting workflows were limiting visibility and control.

We defined target-state processes and helped implement an integrated architecture using Appian for workflow, and MuleSoft (Salesforce) for connectivity to automate settlements and reconciliations. The result made work easier to track and manage across global operations and gave the firm a scalable foundation for onboarding and expansion.

A mid-size financial institution wanted a more seamless omnichannel experience without replacing its mainframe core right away.

We helped design a cloud-first, API-led architecture that separated the digital experience from core and third-party services, giving the business more flexibility now and a clear path to modernize over time. We also supported vendor selection and set API standards and lifecycle governance to reduce integration complexity and help teams release changes faster with the right controls.

One healthcare payer was updating its claims and member-facing platforms, but key financial accumulator logic was locked in database procedures that were hard to maintain, scale, or change safely.

We documented current-state functionality, then used an API-first approach to help redesign accumulators as reusable microservices on Azure. The new architecture improved data quality and real-time processing, reduced ongoing upkeep, and set the payer up to modernize the broader claims ecosystem faster.

A commerce technology provider needed real-time visibility across order, inventory, product, and fulfillment data while making customer onboarding faster.

We translated the product vision into reusable integration building blocks, including configurable connectors and baseline data models aligned to common systems of record. The event-driven architecture brought commerce data into a single view, simplified orchestration, and gave the company a repeatable onboarding playbook to scale.

Insights

The organizations that win aren't the ones with the most AI agents or the fastest time to market. They're the ones where business architecture and technology architecture are in sync—and where delivery speed is balanced with quality. That's what we help our clients build.
