Zach Sachen

Zach is a Principal with PwC's Advisory practice and has over 20 years of experience in a combination of consulting and leadership capacities, consulting both small and large companies across a variety of industries. Zach’s focus is working in the healthcare industry, where he works with executives from pharma/biotech, payers, providers, and pharmacy companies. Zach helps clients accelerate growth and improve operations, ultimately answering the "So what?" about technology and how it benefits the business. In addition to healthcare, Zach has also used his expertise on projects with technology, financial service, telecommunication, education, public sector, and retail/consumer goods companies.

Zach currently leads PwC's Healthcare Digital Solutions competency - this includes taking developments in the following areas and using them to deliver healthcare business solutions: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Robotics, and Drones. These solutions leverage the competency's adjacent skills in mobility, Agile, DevSecOps, integration, testing and cloud (PaaS and SaaS).

Outside his day to day responsibilities, Zach spends time co-leading Univ. of Michigan recruiting efforts, ensuring PwC is bringing its best capabilities to bear as the point partner for select clients, working with his colleagues to develop PwC's healthcare service offerings (e.g. Workforce Transformation), leading key healthcare technology alliances (e.g. Scaled Agile Institute, AgileCraft, MuleSoft, Appian), and mentoring his teams.

Prior to PwC Zach was a Partner with Diamond Management and Technology Consultants. Prior to that he was at Akamai and Intel. Zach earned his B.S. Electrical Engineering magna cum laude from The University of Michigan and has successfully completed INSEAD’s executive education strategy program.
