Yolanda Seals-Coffield

Yolanda Seals-Coffield has been elected President of the PwC Charitable Foundation, Inc. as former President Shannon Schuyler further takes on her new role as PwC’s Chief Purpose & Inclusion Officer.

Yolanda is a visible and well respected leader at PwC US as a Principal and Chief Employment Counsel, and has been an invaluable PwC Foundation Board member since 2012.

In her role with PwC US, Yolanda leads a team of lawyers responsible for advising the firm’s Human Capital team, the Office of Partner Affairs, and the Office of Diversity. On the PwC Foundation side, Yolanda was elected Foundation Secretary in 2015, and has contributed to every area of the Foundation’s mission and work since then, serving as an inspiring voice championing education, diversity and inclusion and supporting PwC people and their communities.

With her vast knowledge of and experience with the Foundation and her unyielding commitment, I have every bit of confidence that Yolanda will take the Foundation to its next level of grantmaking and work with PwC’s people to continue to have a significant impact on our communities across the country.

Shannon Schuyler, Chief Purpose & Inclusion Officer, PwC US

Throughout her tenure, she was an early advocate for the PwC Foundation’s work and funding investment with Civic Accelerators, the first program and investment fund in the country focused on civic ventures, which are startups that include people as part of the solution to critical social issues. Thanks to her early leadership and ongoing input, Civic Accelerator is now in its seventh year and has graduated over 169 social entrepreneurs from the program to date. This leading program is gearing up to launch its 15th cohort.

Yolanda also pushed the PwC Foundation’s grant collaboration with Dream Corps to establish The Dream Corps Tech Scholarship Fund for underrepresented talent to pursue learning opportunities and credentialing for tech careers, and an alumni services program and network to provide enrichment programming, mentoring and support for Fund scholarship recipients.
