What was the challenge?

"We recognized the need to improve our donor and volunteer engagement processes and reporting capabilities. Donor data was previously dispersed across various systems, which made it difficult to provide consistent analytics. Our goal was to integrate our data sources and provide transparent reporting to our sponsors and board. This was an important step for us to be able to serve the nonprofit community more effectively.”

Describe the solution PwC community of solvers helped deliver?

"With the support of PwC, we implemented Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) to empower volunteers, nonprofits and sponsors with new, foundational features and capabilities. We established a strong technical foundation and automated workflows to improve user experience and track relationships through Salesforce reports and dashboards. Our centralized source of truth for volunteer, sponsor and nonprofit data helped us operate more efficiently, streamline processes and reduce data inconsistencies. This implementation has helped revolutionize our reporting and insights."

How does the solution blend the strengths of technology and people?

"The Salesforce platform has transformed our business by centralizing data, reducing manual touchpoints and providing crucial insights on volunteer attendance, fundraising goals and nonprofits supported. Donor relationships and volunteer engagements are managed efficiently in a consolidated cloud-based platform, freeing up time to nurture existing relationships and form new ones. Cloud technology helps streamline processes and provides a holistic view of our business, revolutionizing donor management, volunteer tracking and reporting."

Where or how did innovation and unexpected ways of thinking come into play?

“PwC’s experience with cloud implementations was instrumental to finding a solution that met our distinctive needs. We understood that resources and bandwidth can be a challenge for us at the onset of this work. Our paid staff was stretched thin with upcoming build events, and our volunteers had limited time. PwC stepped in to manage the development process, guiding us along the way and making sure we had what we needed to get new volunteers up and running smoothly. The team built an agile platform that can adapt with our business, and they provided the tools, resources and training for a seamless onboarding. As a result, our team felt prepared to begin using the technology in our daily operations right away.”
