Tom Ciccolella

Tom is an assurance partner, leading PwC’s Bay Area venture capital and private equity assurance practices. He has more than 15 years of experience working with Venture Capital, Private Equity, Fund of Fund, and University Endowment clients.

Tom specializes in complex funds and best performing funds, including valuation, structuring of funds and advisors, and cross border investing. Through his work with Fund of Fund, Endowment, and Foundations, Tom sees the full life cycle of investing and understands what is top of mind for limited partners. He is able to proactively address his clients’ key concerns related to financial and operating reporting. Tom has deep relationships across the globe through serving large multi-national technology and entertainment clients.

Tom is frequently asked to speak at private equity & venture capital conferences and events, where he discusses accounting and auditing hot topics.

Tom is active in numerous professional, business and civic organizations. He graduated from Pace University with a B.A. in public accounting and holds a Master of Adult Education from San Francisco State University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California and is a member of the AICPA.
