US and MX Assurance Managing Partner, PwC US
Tim is the Managing Partner of the U.S. Assurance Practice, which consists of 1,452 partners and 16,770 staff. In this role he is responsible for directing the strategy and operations for the firm’s assurance practice across all markets of the United States, as well as Mexico. He brings more than 26 years of experience to the role and previously served as PwC’s East Region Assurance Leader and, before that, as the Market Assurance Leader for PwC’s Northeast market.
Tim specializes in the area of financial services and has focused most of his career on serving some of the firm’s most significant clients in the asset management sector. With respect to serving his clients, Tim has extensive experience with private equity and hedge funds as well as regulated investment companies (domestic and foreign). He also has significant experience with advising asset advisors (registered and non-registered) on structuring and regulatory matters impacting their business as well as their investment products. Tim also spent two years in the financial services division of PwC’s London office, where he focused principally on private equity and offshore funds, as well as international investment advisors.
Tim has served as the global engagement partner on some of the firm’s largest financial services clients. In addition, Tim also serves as Senior Relationship Partner (SRP) to several significant client relationships of the firm. His role as SRP is to engage with the Audit Committee and executive management to solicit and respond to feedback on PwC’s team and their performance, as well as provide insights and perspectives on the market and industry.
Tim was also a member of PwC’s U.S. Board of Partners and currently serves as a board member on the Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a BBA in accounting and economics.
