Stuart Landsberg

Stuart is an Australian PwC partner currently on secondment to our New York office.  Stuart will be in New York for approximately 2 years (2019-2021).  He was based in Brisbane immediately before transferring to New York and has also worked in Sydney previously.

On the Australian tax desk, Stuart will provide Australian tax support (primarily specialising in ITS and M&A tax services) to the US firm and clients, and will provide a link to the Australian PwC firm.

Stuart has almost 15 years of tax experience with the Australian firm, working across a range of functional skillsets and industry sectors.  Stuart’s functional specializations are in international tax services and M&A tax (for both corporate and private equity clients) but he has also maintained a broad corporate tax practice. 

Whilst he has worked across a range of industries, he has particular experience working with clients in the energy and resources, institutional agriculture and infrastructure sectors. He was a lead relationship partner for a major Canadian pension fund investing in Australia for a number of years.

Stuart has a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction) (Accountancy) from the Queensland University of Technology, is a Chartered Accountant of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and is a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia.
