Morry is a partner in PwC's Transaction Services practice. For over fourteen years he has provided commercial structuring and accounting advice for a variety of transactions under both US GAAP and IFRS. Morry's focus is on strategic transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, and joint ventures, along with capital raising, capital restructuring and other financial engineering or risk management activities.
Morry specializes in technical accounting topics including consolidation, joint venture accounting, impairment, segment reporting, strategic investments, derivatives and hedging, and leasing. He is a regular presenter at internal and external seminars on consolidation and financial instrument issues under US GAAP and IFRS.
Morry's experiences includes consulting in San Francisco, New York, London and other European countries, advising companies in various industries and markets. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Oregon and California. Morry holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from the University of Portland and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
