Fun facts about John:
What is your favorite way to spend free time?
I love spending time with my family – I have two daughters who are 7 and 4 who keep me plenty busy! We really enjoy spending time outdoors, so our ideal getaway is an afternoon wakeboarding on Lake Travis, exercising, or snowboarding in Colorado. On a typical weekend, you will find me posted up by my Big Green Egg attempting to perfect beef ribs and brisket – slow and low, salt and pepper and never exceed 200 degrees. My wife and I also enjoy live music, so we are regular attenders of ACL Music Festival and other music events around town.
What is one of your goals yet to be achieved?
To complete a triathlon.
If you could have dinner with anyone-who would it be and why?
Well, there are many people on that list but I would have to say my Mom, she passed away this past year and is dearly missed.
What’s on your current reading list?
