Heather Horn is the US strategic thought leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, working closely with firm leaders to determine the US firm’s position on emerging trends in auditing, accounting and financial reporting matters. Her accounting and auditing expertise includes derivatives, consolidations, leases, fair value and rate-regulated accounting. Heather is based in the firm’s national office in Florham Park, New Jersey.
Over her 27-year PwC career, Heather has become one of PwC’s most experienced partners providing specialized audit and consulting services to power and utilities clients, and currently serves as the National office expert in power and utility technical matters under both US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards.
She is also the lead author and editor of PwC’s “Utilities and power companies,” the firm’s comprehensive accounting guide addressing industry-specific technical matters.
Heather joined the Firm in 1991 upon graduating from the University of Virginia. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
