Farah Faruqui is a San Jose-based partner focusing on PwC's Technology Internal Audit practice in the San Jose/Northern California, Southern California, and North Texas markets. She is responsible for building an "Emerging Company Services" practice for Internal Audit and Risk Assurance. Farah assists clients ranging from pre-IPO to mid-market to large technology companies. Her focus includes internal audit business process improvement.
She has led initiatives for high-growth companies in Silicon Valley, assisting them with corporate governance, risk and compliance, and business process improvement matters. Farah has also performed numerous enterprise, IT, and fraud risk assessments, and developed annual internal audit plans.
Farah is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, and is a Certified Public Accountant in California and a Chartered Accountant in Canada. She is a member of the AICPA, California Board of Accountancy, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Farah has served on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Internal Auditors, San Jose Chapter, and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Silicon Valley chapter. Farah lives in Campbell, CA, with her husband and son and enjoys traveling and reading.
