Andrew (Andy) Dunne

Andrew Dunne is the International Tax Director leading PwC’s Irish Tax Desk in New York. On assignment from PwC Ireland, Andrew has extensive experience in advising US, Irish and other multinational companies across a number of sectors on a broad range of tax and related matters.

Andrew’s international tax experience includes the establishment and maintenance of tax efficient IP and holding company structures, financing and treasury management structures, and establishing investment platforms for financial services organizations (banking/hedge fund and Private Equity).

Andrew also has in-depth experience involving the reorganization of various cross border structures involving Ireland, the expansion of group activities both into and out of Ireland, and wider transaction support. Andrew also has experience in accessing all innovation-based Irish tax incentives such as the Irish R&D tax credit regime and the Irish knowledge development box (KDB) for multinationals including those in the technology, pharmaceutical, life science, and financial services sectors.

Andrew holds a degree in Arts (Accounting & Finance), is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and is a Chartered Tax Adviser and member of the Irish Taxation Institute.
