Dear Friends in Academia,
We hope you had a great summer and that the school year is off to a great start. This month, we’re excited to announce a $10,000 CPA exam bonus for new hires starting June 1, 2026, plus access to Becker CPA boot camps. We’ve added new AI-focused teaching materials, step-by-step agent guides, and have integrated AI activities into three virtual learning experiences on our Faculty Resource site. Learn more about how PwC continues to prioritize human skills development alongside AI innovation, with new coaching programs and industry collaborations driving meaningful impact. We also invite you to explore our research platform and CPE-eligible professional development opportunities. We hope you enjoy these resources.
We have recently increased our CPA exam bonus to $10,000 for eligible entry-level hires who pass all four sections of the CPA exam before joining the firm or within one year of their start date. Additionally, eligible candidates will also have access to optional Becker CPA boot camps, reinforcing PwC's continued investment in supporting the next generation of accounting professionals. Learn more here.
We are excited to share several new resources now available on our Faculty Resource site. The IT General Controls Lab Activity shows how AI can extract data from PDFs and load it into Excel for human review. The Art Prompting Challenge provides faculty with an agent they can set up and share with students, who then complete the challenge to test and strengthen their prompting skills.
We’ve also released step-by-step agent guides for setting up agents that support case writing, accounting news and standards monitoring, assignment redesign, and the creation of small fictional datasets with guided analysis activities. You can access these materials on our Faculty Resource site. If you don’t have access, it can be requested here.
We’re pleased to share that our Audit, Tax, and Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) virtual learning experiences have been updated to include AI. Each experience includes four hypothetical tasks that represent a day-in-the-life of a PwC employee and how they may use AI in those tasks. Check out the experiences here.
In case you missed our webinar that walks through the updates and how to incorporate the activities into the classroom, you can watch a copy of the recording here. If you don’t have access, it can be requested here.
