The appointment of Snee and Tran to the PwC USA Board further reinforces PwC’s commitment to independence, strong governance and diverse thinking to drive the success of our firm.

PwC welcomed Jim Snee and Tuan Tran to the PwC USA LLP Board of Partners and Principals as External Observing Board Members on August 1, 2025. They join Sara Lewis, who came onboard in July 2024.

“Our Board conducted an extensive search to identify qualified candidates who could bring independent, outside perspectives,” said Karen Young, PwC partner and Chair of PwC USA LLP’s Board. “Jim and Tuan bring diverse experiences and deep strategic insight that will help propel PwC’s continued growth and innovation. We’re thrilled to welcome them.”

Jim brings over 30 years of leadership at Hormel Foods, including nearly a decade of public board experience with Hormel and Republic Services. As former President and CEO of Hormel, he led the company through portfolio-expanding acquisitions, a major operational reorganization, and a company-wide growth transformation—all while continuing its long-standing record of dividend growth.

“I'm honored to join PwC’s Board as an External Observing Member,” said Snee. “I look forward to contributing my experience in leadership and corporate governance to help advance PwC’s mission and deliver even greater value to its clients and communities.”

Tuan is a veteran executive at HP, currently serving as President of HP’s Technology & Innovation organization, established in 2024 to shape the company’s technology strategy and accelerate AI across the organization’s portfolio. Over 34 years at HP, he has held senior roles in marketing, finance, and operations, including leading HP’s $20B global Imaging, Printing, and Solutions business. His strategic foresight and leadership have helped position HP at the forefront of AI and innovation.

“Joining PwC’s Board is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the organization,” said Tran. “I look forward to bringing my technology and innovation experience to bear as PwC takes the lead in trends like AI to deliver meaningful impact for clients.”

“Jim and Tuan’s appointments reflect our commitment to strengthening governance and embracing forward-thinking leadership,” added Young. “Their perspectives will be instrumental as we continue to empower our people, serve clients and shape the future of professional services.”
