Our leadership team

Tim Ryan is US Senior Partner of PwC, having been elected by his fellow partners. He is responsible for setting the strategy, leading the culture, and setting the tone on quality for the firm’s 75,000 employees and partners. Tim serves as a member of the Network Leadership Team (NLT), which includes the senior partners from the network’s four largest territories. He serves as Asia Pacific Americas (APA) Leader and oversees the execution of our network strategy in that region.

Tim is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Brookings Institution. He also serves as a member of the Governing Board at the Center for Audit Quality (CAQ), a non-partisan and non-profit group dedicated to enhancing investor confidence and public trust in the global capital markets. He also serves on the Financial Accounting Foundation’s Board of Trustees and is the Co-Chair of its Standard-Setting Process Oversight Committee.

Tim worked with a small group of CEOs to launch CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™— now the largest ever CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace, with more than 2,400 signatory organizations. He also founded CEO Action for Racial Equity to identify and promote scalable and sustainable policies and corporate best practices to address systemic racism and social injustice.

Tim has over 30 years of diversified experience serving clients across the globe. He is a certified public accountant in Massachusetts and New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from Babson College where he studied accounting and communications, and joined the firm after graduation. Tim is a Boston native, a runner, and proud father of six children.

Joe is a Vice Chair - Chief Products and Technology Officer. In this role, Joe is responsible for leading the firm through the next wave of digital transformation. This includes accelerating our growth in go-to-market products and digital solutions, as well as the firmwide technology capabilities.

Previously serving as the Chief Digital Officer, Joe defined and executed the vision to digitally enable the firm, and better leverage technology and talent to bring greater value (and experience) to our people and clients. Prior to that, Joe was the leader of our Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) consulting business for the US, Japan and China, and he has built a reputation as a trusted, pragmatic and thoughtful advisor to clients as they navigate through accelerating technology changes and increasing regulatory complexity.

Joe joined the firm in 1993, and was admitted to the partnership in 2001. He has served in a variety of practice leadership and management roles during his career, including being elected to the firm’s Board of Partners & Principals. His client service responsibilities have included some of the largest and most recognizable brands in Technology, Media & Telecommunications.

Joe is actively engaged as a civic leader, serving as chair of the Finance Committee for the Board of Trustees for Bancroft, a non-profit health and human services organization. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Pennsylvania State University College of Information Sciences & Technology and serves as a trustee for the Community Foundation of South Jersey. He previously served as a trustee for the PwC Charitable Foundation.

Joe graduated from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor of science degree in Finance. He and his wife Laura have three children, and live in Haddonfield, New Jersey.

Wes Bricker is Vice Chair - US Trust Solutions Co-Leader. In this role he oversees the largest Trust platform in the world, bringing together the firm’s combined Audit, ESG, Digital Assurance and Tax Reporting capabilities to best help clients as they seek to build trust with their stakeholders. As co-leader, Wes is responsible for the quality of service, excellence in the work performed by over 21,000 partners and staff, developing diverse teams and driving innovation.

Wes brings a track record of leadership in the global capital markets and the public accounting profession. He currently serves as the Chair of the board of directors for XBRL International, a consortium that oversees the widely-recognized standard for digital business reporting globally.

Previously, Wes served as the PwC US Assurance Leader, and prior, was the Securities & Exchange Commission’s Chief Accountant beginning in 2016. In his role as the SEC’s Chief Accountant, Wes was the principal advisor to the Commission on accounting and auditing matters, and led the Commission’s Office of the Chief Accountant. He was also responsible for assisting the Commission with discharging its oversight of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), and also served as chair for the Monitoring Group, a group of regulatory and international financial organizations committed to advancing the public interest in international audit standard setting and audit quality.

Prior to joining the SEC, Wes was an Assurance partner at PwC and member of our National Quality Organization. Wes received a BS in accounting from Elizabethtown College and a JD from American University. He is licensed as a certified public accountant in various states and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Roslyn (Roz) is the US Public Policy Leader and is based in Washington, DC. She is responsible for ensuring PwC has a voice in important debates at the nexus of business and government and helping the firm successfully execute its business strategy. Roz leads PwC’s engagement with Congress, the White House, regulatory agencies, state and local governments and organizations including trade associations, think tanks and NGOs.

Roz brings more than 24 years of experience working at PwC in both tax consulting and public policy. During her tenure in PwC’s tax practice, Roz’s technical and communications skills earned her a place in a highly selective rotational program working directly with the firm’s US Leadership Team. In the program, Roz led internal initiatives focused on brand, knowledge management and communications. After completing the program, Roz transitioned to the firm’s US Government, Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy team based in Washington, DC which is where she has played an essential role in leading government, regulatory and public policy strategy for PwC for 17 years.

Roz also serves on the boards of directors of GlobalWIN, a nonprofit organization that helps women lead in the global innovation economy, and Financial Services Professionals, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance the excellence of diverse professionals in the public and private financial services industry.

Roz holds a BA in English and Psychology from Stanford University, a JD from The University of Michigan Law School at Ann Arbor, and an LLM in Taxation from Wayne State University in Detroit.

Martyn Curragh is PwC’s Chief Financial Officer and Head of Portfolio Strategy. He joined PwC’s US Leadership Team on July 1, 2016. Prior to this, Martyn served as the leader of PwC’s Transaction Services Practice in the US — a business composed of over 1,000 experienced professionals who advise clients throughout the entire lifecycle of a transaction, providing due diligence for M&A transactions, along with advice on accounting and financial reporting and valuation, M&A strategy and integration, capital raising, restructuring and divestiture options.

During his tenure with PwC, Martyn has distinguished himself as a seasoned deal specialist with extensive experience in global and cross-border deals, having served numerous private equity and corporate clients resident in both the United States and Europe. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in transactions aggregating over $30 billion across a diverse group of industry sectors including media and publishing, consumer products and retail, industrial products, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense contracting. Martyn has provided a broad range of mergers and acquisitions-related services to clients, including industry and market assessments, buy-side due diligence, divestiture services, accounting and tax structuring and post-merger integration.

Martyn has been with PwC for 23 years, working in both the United Kingdom and the United States. He joined the US Transaction Services group in the New York office in 1998, relocating from Northern Ireland. Martyn is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the Queen's University of Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Paul Griggs was named as the next senior partner of PwC US, beginning his four-year term on July 1, 2024.

A nearly 30-year PwC veteran, Paul currently serves on the US Leadership Team as Vice Chair of US Markets, overseeing the strategy and execution of the commercial, people, community and quality efforts across 90+ offices. Having served as a lead client partner for some of the firm’s largest clients, he has advised companies through significant global change—including business model reinvention, public offerings, acquisitions and divestitures—driving trust within the capital markets. 

Paul also serves as the business sponsor and co-leader of My+, the firm’s people strategy that empowers our 75,000 people to develop and grow their careers, including upskilling the entire workforce on generative AI.

Previously, he served as the Banking & Capital Markets Leader; Managing Partner for the New York Metro region, PwC’s largest office and geography; and Financial Services Assurance Leader in the Carolinas. A certified public accountant in New York and North Carolina, Paul holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy from Wake Forest University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and sits on the Board of Junior Achievement of New York, where he chairs the Audit Committee. 

Based in New York, he is a proud husband and dedicated father of three. Outside of work, he is an outdoor enthusiast, travel aficionado and avid reader.

Ana Paula is PwC Mexico’s Senior Partner. Prior to this role, she led the Insourced Solutions Tax (IST) practice for Mexico and coordinated regional IST engagements for Latin America. Before joining PwC in 2017, she was the Mexico tax director for a Fortune 100 multinational corporation.

She brings deep expertise and a broad view to client service. With her experience in corporate income tax, indirect taxes, tax government affairs and controversy management, she understands the interplay of internal functions that our clients must manage.

Ana Paula is passionate about delivering the best possible client service. She truly enjoys being out in the market, and collaborates naturally and actively with her PwC partners across disciplines, platforms and geographies to meet the fast-paced changes and economic challenges in the Mexican market.

Kathryn Kaminsky is Vice Chair - US Trust Solutions Co-Leader. Kathryn’s biggest passion is serving clients. Throughout her career, she has led engagement teams for some of the firm’s largest global clients, helping them meet their financial reporting, regulatory, and transformation needs. She also works closely with C-suite leadership, boards, and senior management to help create and execute their strategic vision. Previously, Kathryn served as the firm’s Tax Leader where she worked with clients to shape business strategy through an understanding of the impact tax events can have on an organization’s goals, as well as the opportunities policy changes can present for cross-functional efficiencies.

One of Kathryn’s key focuses as a leader is the advancement of female and diverse professionals in the firm. She is sought out as a leadership mentor and regularly speaks at universities, conferences and PwC functions regarding career development. Kathryn is also a member of the board of the United Way of New York City and the Ronald McDonald House.

She graduated from the University of Western Ontario and is a certified public accountant in New York and New Hampshire and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mohamed Kande serves as Vice Chair PwC US - US Consulting Leader and Global Advisory Leader. In this role he is responsible for helping clients identify value and design and deliver large-scale business-led change, from strategy to outcomes, specifically in the areas of Deals, Transformation, Cybersecurity, Privacy and Risk, Cloud and Digital and Tax Consulting.

Prior to this role, Mohamed served as PwC’s US and Global Advisory Leader for the technology, media, telecoms (“TMT”) and hospitality industry sectors. His technical knowledge spans the areas of operational strategy, technology development, mergers and acquisitions and operations management.

Before joining PwC in August 2011, Mohamed was the managing partner of PRTM Management Consultants’ Europe, Middle East and South Asia business. Prior to that leadership role, he was the managing partner of PRTM's Global Public Sector business. Mohamed also continued to be one of the senior partners in PRTM’s telecommunications and technology practice.

Prior to joining PRTM, Mohamed worked for Motorola in Chicago and for DTI Telecom in Canada, deploying and launching telecommunications networks in the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Mohamed holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in electrical engineering from the University of Montreal and a BS in electrical engineering from Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Génie Electrique in France. He is on the Board of Directors of CARE, the global humanitarian organization providing disaster relief to areas in crisis, and providing long-term solutions to poverty around the world.

Jenny Koehler serves as PwC’s Strategic Growth and Business Development Leader. Previously, Jenny served as the firm’s Cloud and Digital leader, and before that served as the Deputy Advisory Leader, where she led PwC’s US Industrial Products & Services business unit, encompassing the Power & Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace & Defense industry sectors. 

Over the years, Jenny has built a reputation as a thoughtful advisor to clients with a focus on driving business outcomes, through the lens of multi-disciplinary transformational initiatives. These transformations increasingly involve the use of technology and Jenny prides herself on leveraging technology to drive change within organizations. 

As a passionate advocate for environmental literacy, Jenny is a National Board Member, and Chair of the Audit Committee, for NatureBridge, a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting youth in our society to the natural world.

 Jenny graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas with a master’s degree in Accounting & Finance and, before that, from the College of Wooster, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is also a CPA and member of the AICPA. She and her husband Jason live in Houston.

J.C. Lapierre is the Chief Strategy and Communications Officer of PwC’s US Firm. In that capacity, J.C. works with the executive leadership team to develop, communicate, execute and sustain corporate strategic initiatives. J.C. has been a critical part of the firm’s efforts to streamline business operations and reduce operating costs to create investment capacity. She also helped architect the strategy to digitally transform the firm.

Since its inception, J.C. has worked with Tim Ryan to help lead CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™ — the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. CEO Action now has over 1,000 signatories as part of the coalition.

Over her twenty-plus year career with PwC, J.C. has worked in several areas throughout the firm. She worked in the Risk Assurance practice advising global Technology and Industrial Products clients on effective risk management and business process controls systems. Additionally, J.C. has worked in Human Capital and Marketing and Sales.

J.C. graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Psychology and she received her M.B.A. at Simmons College. She sits on the board of Flying Kites, a progressive school network in Njabini, Kenya and is passionate about combining travel with education advocacy. J.C. is also an active biker of the Pan-Mass Challenge, the largest athletic fundraiser in the world dedicated to cancer research.

Christine Lattanzio is PwC’s Partner Affairs leader and Chief Administrative Officer for the US and Mexico. She is responsible for partner-related matters and helping to drive the firm’s overall strategy.

A client service partner since 2007, Christine has spent most of her career working with clients in the private equity and real estate industries and served as the leader of PwC's Real Estate Tax practice. Before taking on her current role, Christine served as PwC’s Internal Communications & Change Management Leader. Prior to PwC, she worked in the global tax planning group at Security Capital Group, a publicly traded real estate firm, and practiced tax law at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP (now Paul Hastings).

Christine is passionate about helping other people succeed. She is an active member of the board of directors of Higher Achievement, a non-profit organization that provides rigorous year-round learning and mentoring to middle school students in DC, Baltimore and Richmond.

Christine holds an AB from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, a JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and an LLM in Taxation from the New York University School of Law.

Mark Mendola is a Vice Chair - US Managing Partner. Mark leads PwC’s businesses and go-to-market efforts, with a focus on delivering value and quality to our clients. In addition to his responsibility for the Assurance, Advisory and Tax businesses, Mark leads the firm’s efforts to change business models and service offerings through technology and has overall responsibility for the firm’s people and digital transformation strategies. Mark also serves as the senior relationship partner to several of the firm’s largest clients.

Prior to his current role, Mark served as the US Tax Leader, responsible for the network of Tax practices across the Americas. Mark’s previous roles included the Market Managing Partner of the Greater Michigan market, the US automotive sector leader and the Senior Tax Leader of the PwC Canada Tax practice.

Mark joined the firm in 1986, serving in the Detroit office. He was admitted to the partnership in 1998. During his time with the firm, Mark has advised a wide range of large multinational companies across a variety of industries, including automotive, industrial products, and retail and consumer products.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mark is a graduate of Oakland University and received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Mark is a frequent instructor and active conference speaker. He is active in the greater Detroit community and is on the board of several charitable organizations.

Shannon is PwC’s US Chief Purpose and Inclusion Officer - a role that brings together unique insights and perspectives from her prior roles as Chief Purpose Officer, Responsible Business Leader and Chief Diversity Officer.

Shannon’s work activates PwC’s purpose to build trust in society and solve important problems, and to create a fulfilling employee experience.

She was named a 2019 World Changing Woman in Conscious Business by Conscious Company Media, and was included on Fast Company’s list of the 100 Most Creative People in Business in 2016. Shannon lives in Chicago with her husband and son.

Yolanda is the US Chief People Officer and is based in Stamford, Connecticut where she lives with her husband and two daughters.

Yolanda is a principal who has been with the firm for over a decade. Before joining the US Leadership Team, she was the firm’s Chief Employment Counsel and led a team of lawyers responsible for advising the firm’s People team, the Office of Partner Affairs and the Office of Diversity. In that role, Yolanda was also a member of the firm’s People Leadership team, and worked closely with business leaders and partners across many aspects of the people agenda.

Yolanda served as president of the PwC Charitable Foundation, Inc. During her time on the Foundation’s board, she championed diversity and inclusion, education and humanitarian efforts.

As Chief People Officer, Yolanda will help provide strategic leadership across initiatives to align the firm’s People strategy and function with its growth strategy. She is committed to helping PwC continue to be a place where people can be themselves, grow their careers and thrive in their personal and professional lives. Outside of work, Yolanda strives to be of service to her community. She is an active leader in the Stamford Norwalk Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. and the Fairfield County Chapter of The Links Incorporated. 

Yolanda received her JD from the Boston University School of Law where she was a Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellow and a staff editor of the Public Interest Law Journal. She is a proud graduate of Howard University, where she received her BA.

James Shira is PwC’s US and Global Chief Information and Technology Officer, responsible for leading and driving PwC’s technology and information security strategy to technology-enable the PwC network of firms. He joined PwC in 2015 as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and has built and led our US and global information security function. 

Over the course of 19 years, James has led security transformation programs in large financial services organizations and also at PwC. James is known as a change- and action-oriented executive who thrives on tackling large-scale challenges. Furthermore, he is known for his approaches to people management and integration of emerging technologies to enable business strategies. 

James was one of the inaugural students in Columbia University's executive Technology Management program and has a bachelor’s degree in business from Baylor University with a concentration on Management Information Systems. He, his wife and two children reside in California.

I oversee PwC’s legal team, which provides practical, tailored advice to enable the firm’s business and strategy.

As a trusted advisor, I draw on my experience, legal knowledge and judgment to serve my clients. I take pride in leading, with empathy, a team of talented professionals, delegating to them and supporting them as they do great work counseling our firm.

A native New Yorker, I have enjoyed bird watching since childhood. I am also a sports enthusiast and ex-college athlete who does more watching than playing these days. In addition to cheering on my two kids, I am a fan of the NY Yankees, Rangers and (sadly) Jets. What I love about my job is that it combines the passion of sports with the patience of birding.

Sagar Teotia is Vice Chair - US Chief Risk Officer and serves as a member of the US Leadership Team (USLT). In this role, Sagar is responsible for firmwide risk management strategies and operations, as well as firmwide risk mitigation and risk identification. In this capacity, Sagar leads a multidisciplinary team of professionals and works with firm leadership on managing risk in client service and products, portfolio level risk, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining PwC, Sagar served as the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Chief Accountant beginning in 2019. In this role, he served as the principal advisor to the SEC on accounting and auditing matters. He also led the Commission’s Office of the Chief Accountant, a group of dedicated professionals whose work significantly contributes to the overall financial reporting system and investor protection. Sagar also consulted with registrants, auditors, investors, and other industry representatives, and was responsible for assisting the Commission in the oversight of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).

Sagar also previously served as Co-Chair of the Monitoring Group, a group of international financial institutions and regulatory bodies committed to advancing the public interest in international auditing matters, and was previously a partner at Deloitte.

Sagar received his B.S. in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is licensed to practice as a certified public accountant in Illinois.

Roy is Vice Chair - Societal Engagement and Policy Solutions. His previous roles include US Tax Leader, US Tax Strategy Leader, NY Metro Tax Leader, NY Metro Tax Leader for the Banking & Capital Markets and Insurance sectors and Chief Diversity Officer.

Roy has more than 25 years of experience providing a full range of services to multinational clients. He currently serves on the board of trustees for Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, The Pinkerton Foundation, Carnegie Hall and Riverdale Country School.

Roy earned a master’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation from Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Winthrop University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

As the US Chief Network Officer, Farhad’s role is to lead and execute on the firm’s global strategy across the PwC network and to enable clients to have a consistent, tech-enabled, quality experience. Farhad collaborates with and consults senior territory and alliance partners, global clients and other key stakeholders on a range of business and geopolitical matters. He is also responsible for prioritizing investments to drive innovation and growth at scale across the PwC network.

Prior to his current role, Farhad served as the head of PwC’s US Capital Markets practice, providing objective solutions to help companies strategically access capital for IPOs, spin-offs and debt offerings for greater long-term strength and speed-to-market.

Farhad has over 27 years of experience providing Assurance and Advisory services in Asia, Australia, Europe and the US across various sectors. With diverse experiences in finance, accounting, consulting, project management, human capital, risk and regulatory projects and across roles in different countries and industries, Farhad brings a unique perspective to solving complex global problems, particularly as it comes to deals, integration, business operations and processes, as well as financial reporting and accounting matters.

Farhad serves many of PwC’s largest and most complex Fortune 100 clients and has also served as one of our human capital leaders focused on recruiting, retaining and developing our people. Farhad is actively involved in diversity and inclusion efforts both at PwC US and with ASCEND, a Pan-Asian leadership organization. He serves on the Advisory Board for the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, where he is a guest lecturer.

Born in Bangladesh, Farhad has lived on five  continents and holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Virginia as well as executive diplomas from Columbia University and INSEAD.
