Our engagement with qualified suppliers includes broadening our support of local communities by fostering economic inclusion. We focus that strategy on working with a range of businesses, including small businesses, and nurturing relationships that help to support more inclusive opportunities. The impact our firm has when we award a contract to a supplier extends to the communities in which it operates, helping to create economic opportunities and ultimately develop stronger and more prosperous communities.
Building supplier relationships that deliver for our business and our communities
Relationships are important. Our supplier strategy includes steps to increase our investment in the growth and development of businesses that advance economic inclusion through education, roundtable discussions and investments in upskilling opportunities.
We also actively engage with external organizations and national councils that work to influence broad change in support of economic inclusion. In parallel with these efforts, we also remain focused on helping our supplier network operate in a sustainable way.

This work is critical, as our large supplier network spans the globe and has wide-reaching impacts that far exceed the impact of our own operations.
