Finishing your military service does not mean that your learned skills end there. The skills and flexibility that made you successful in the military can help you be successful at PwC. General PwC job requirements include a competitive collegiate grade point average, broad responsibility and leadership experience, and an honorable discharge. Advisory

  • Public Sector Practice: Teams in our Public Sector Practice, located in the Washington DC area, help transform the way our government does business. We help government agencies solve complex business issues and manage risk in areas such as human capital, financial management, compliance, program management and technology
  • Cyber Security and Privacy: PwC's IT Security, Privacy & Risk Consultants are a team of business integrators with extensive consulting and industry experience. A PwC consulting career may provide the opportunity to grow and contribute in our IT Security, Privacy & Risk competency that we apply to our clients' business issues every day, including a collection of security spectrum capabilities, including security strategy and governance, IT risk, security technologies, cybercrime and breach response.
  • Technology Consulting: As a member of our Technology Consulting team you will explore innovative ways to help clients transform their business through technology such as cloud computing, extracting value from enterprise data, and securing intellectual property and systems from cyber-attacks

 

Assurance

  • Risk Assurance: Risk Assurance professionals help clients keep risk under control and make more confident decisions. Risk can be found in business operations, corporate finance, privacy & security, systems implementations, compliance testing, data analytics and emerging internal controls reporting.
  • IT&PA: Our Information Technology & Project Assurance (IT&PA) teams support information security and, technical privacy, develop process, automations, and help companies, safely deliver their information.
  • GADM: The Global Assurance Delivery Model (GADM) is a long-term global effort, focusing on creating Assurance delivery centers across the territories as part of a future sourcing model. 

Internal Firm Services (IFS)

  • Human Resources/Recruiting: Our Human Resource professionals are accountable for establishing and maintaining the processes and systems which enable the Firm to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people. The HR Shared Services Center (HR SSC) is a critical component of the Firm's Human Resource organization, providing strategic and tactical support that enables the successful delivery of the Human Capital Strategy. Through a flexible, shared services environment, we deliver operational efficiency and effectiveness that promotes the PwC experience.
  • Finance: Our Finance consultants help clients optimize all elements of their finance organization. This high performing team guides clients in effective overall financial management as well as corporate performance management.
  • Information Technology: PwC IT is responsible for aligning IT with the business on the delivery of PwC's strategic priorities. It will do this by building strategic capabilities, enabling transformational efforts, embedding quality in all systems and processes and delivering the PwC experience.
  • Marketing & Sales: PwC's Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm's priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm. The PwC brand is leveraged and further strengthened throughout the mix of sales activities, which include: Identifying and facilitating client relationships with priority accounts; matching specific client needs to Firm services; facilitating and contributing to proposal opportunities and client presentations; developing and overseeing the use of best practice-based sales methodologies and tools.

Tax

  • TRPI: Tax Reporting & Performance Improvement (TRPI) teams help companies assess, plan and achieve enhanced operating levels of their tax organization by focusing on key, defined enablers around people, process, data and technology.
  • Tax Delivery Center: A key priority to achieving success in our Firm is Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS). Within the Tax Line of Service (LoS), the GSS model focuses on developing Service Delivery Centers (SDCs) to perform routine tax activities that are high volume, low risk and non-client facing. The SDCs will focus on leveraging technology and standardized processes with a critical focus on efficiency.

Through VAN, we support the recruitment and retention of talented individuals who answered the call to serve our country — including veterans, service members, military reservists and members of the National Guard – as well as others, such as military spouses, children, caregivers of service-disabled veterans, and other allies. Once these individuals join our firm, we provide a distinctive PwC experience which includes a community of support and opportunities to leverage the unique leadership skills obtained during their military service.

PwC's VAN comes together with ideas and strategies to facilitate the professional and personal development of former military talent through a variety of career enhancing opportunities, support networks, and educational services. By bringing together people with uniquely similar backgrounds, the VAN will help transition the skills you gained in the military into a successful career at PwC. The VAN focuses on five main areas of engagement: Recruiting, Outreach & Networking, Education, Mentorship, and Family Readiness.
