What sparked the need for change?
“Lucid is pushing the boundaries of technological innovation in our field, and the breakthroughs we are developing could have the power to benefit all through more sustainable transportation and better use of the world’s resources. As we continue to grow, we are committed to scaling responsibly and leveraging the same focus on efficiency in our operations that we have in our products. We are constantly challenging ourselves to do more with less, which naturally supports being strategic with our use of energy and water and reducing waste, minimizing our environmental footprint while positively impacting our bottom line.”
What solution did the teams unlock by working together?
“PwC brought structure, speed, and deep technical expertise. Together, we looked at hundreds of potential decarbonization levers, quickly identifying the 64 that were highly relevant to operations. We prioritized the 14 with the greatest potential for combined impact on Lucid’s environmental footprint and operational financial results. That included onsite solar installation analysis, operational strategies like load staggering, smarter equipment scheduling, and variable frequency drives for new systems. We didn’t just leave with a list—we walked away with a clear, actionable plan that could deliver meaningful cost benefits while aligning with growth and sustainability ambitions.”
