Senior Director, Governance Insights Center, PwC US
Tracey-Lee Brown is a Senior Director in PwC’s Governance Insights Center, which strives to strengthen the connection between directors, executive teams and investors by helping them navigate the evolving governance landscape.
With close to two decades of experience at PwC, Tracey brings experience in technical accounting, SEC and financial reporting. She advises boards and committee members on a variety of governance-related issues, and contributed to thought leadership focused topics including audit committee, AI, sustainability, and risk oversight.
Tracey initially started with our PwC South Africa firm in 2007 and transferred to the PwC New York office in 2012. She is a Certified Public Accountant (licensed in New York and California), as well as a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. She holds an Honors Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of South Africa. Tracey also holds the NACD Directorship Certification, as well as the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential. Tracey recently served as a board member at a non-profit organization called Women Creating Change. She lives in San Jose with her husband and sons.
