Mike Thiessen is a tenured partner with global experience and a reputation for client service skill, technical ability and audit quality. Mike has over 24 years of diversified experience serving large multi-national organizations.
Mike's extensive experience includes US GAAP, SEC and IFRS accounting and reporting matters, complex acquisitions, divestitures and transactions, due diligence assessments, governance, control and compliance programs, internal audit and operational assessments. He has also been involved in debt and equity registrations on the New York and London stock exchanges. His clients have ranged from the large multinational corporations noted above to emerging growth companies in the technology, services, and industrial products sectors.
In addition to the above noted roles, Mike currently serves as the Technology, InfoComm, Entertainment and Media Assurance Practice Leader, where he oversees one of our highest growth practices and key Global and National priority accounts and abundant resources.
Mike received his Masters degree in Business Administration from Columbia University in New York and his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. Mike began his career in Stamford and has also served clients from the New York, Helsinki and Hartford Offices.
Mike is a licensed CPA in Connecticut and New York and currently resides in South Glastonbury Connecticut with his wife and two children.
