Barbra Bukovac is the Vice Chairman for PwC’s Mid-Central Region, where she is responsible for ensuring that PwC delivers a unique client experience across the region by providing a global perspective and in-depth industry knowledge through its assurance, tax and advisory services.
Prior to becoming Vice Chairman, Barbra was most recently a member of PwC’s US Tax Core Leadership Team and served as the US Tax Sectors Leader where she helped clients, across the sectors PwC services, achieve their tax objectives and add value to their organizations.
With 25 years of experience in public accounting and corporate tax, Barbra has served various roles in her career at the firm including the Tax Sector Leader for the U.S. Retail & Consumer Products (“R&C”) Industry where she led a team of R&C specialist resources within the firm’s Washington National Tax Services, International Tax and State Tax network to provide critical knowledge management to clients and partner.
Additionally, Barbra has a broad array of US and international tax experience, including cross-border transactions, foreign tax minimization, repatriation planning, foreign tax credit maximization, subpart F planning, the formation and use of foreign holding companies, global structure alignment/ value chain transformation, global tax provision reviews and federal and state corporate tax planning and compliance.
Barbra has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois in Urbana. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is licensed in Illinois and Massachusetts.
