A.J. Scamuffa is the US Chemicals practice leader and an Assurance partner in our Philadelphia office. AJ leads a cross-functional team of professionals dedicated to the chemicals sector in disciplines of audit, tax and advisory. A.J. has worked with numerous multinational clients on a number of complex issues, including debt and equity offerings, acquisitions and divestitures, complex tax structures, restructuring initiatives and various other matters.
He has significant experience with Securities and Exchange Commission reporting, implementation and annual compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, and implementation of new accounting standards.
In addition to client responsibilities, A.J. is involved with several Firm initiatives, including the development of thought leadership publications, learning and education and knowledge management initiatives, and assists with development of various external conferences.
