Our Service Delivery Centers position the US firm and the global network of firms to be more competitive and deliver distinctive service to our clients through enhanced quality, innovation, standardization and optimization, flexibility and increased efficiency.

Client support

The SDC is an extension of our US engagement teams, performing a wide variety of activities that are high volume and non-client facing.  Work is specifically focused on core compliance activities. Many activities are completed using standardized processes to create higher quality and efficiencies. SDC team members become experts in a focused number of activities, developing enhanced processes and technologies

Our Advisory Global Sourcing and Delivery (GSD) model is a set of capabilities resident outside our core US practice that supports us in performing client service activities anywhere in the world, where the appropriate mix of talent and knowledge is available at the best value. Working together with our client service engagement teams, we tailor a plan that combines the best resource and pricing options for a specific piece of work, based on the client business drivers, delivery requirements, and value factors.

Columbia, South Carolina SDC

Over 300 professionals make up our Columbia, South Carolina Advisory Service Delivery center. These professionals support the following groups in our Advisory Practice:

Management Consulting
Our management consultants provide business analysis and project management solutions for our clients focused on mergers and acquisitions, operations, customer relationships, sales and marketing,human capital and change management, finance and program and portfolio management.

Risk Consulting
Our risk consultants provide solutions focused on risk considerations across corporate cultures. Here in Columbia, we focus primarily on AML, transaction monitoring and regulatory compliance review.

Technical Consulting
Our technology consultants provide solutions focused on cloud computing, extracting value from enterprise data. We have expertise with a variety of industry-leading technologies like Java, Salesforce, Appian, Angular and others. We help clients integrate systems, customize applications and automate business processes

Deliverable Excellence Center (DEC):
The DEC is a group of creatives who work with PwC teams. Our copywriters and graphic designers customize story-driven deliverables such as thought leadership pieces, white papers, presentations and web pages.

Assurance Service Delivery Center

Located in Tampa, FL, our Tampa Assurance Service Delivery Center (TASDC) team members assist US-based Audit and Risk Assurance Engagement Teams with approximately twenty assurance activities - and that number is growing every year. TASDC team members become experts in these activities, leveraging innovative technologies, tools and processes to ensure the highest quality. They also play a key role in piloting new activities, working collaboratively with key members of the Assurance Practice towards successful pilots and ultimately adding the service to our catalog. The TASDC is a critical part of the US Assurance strategy and PwC’s vision for the future.
