PwC’s chatbot empowers 17,000 assurance pros in first year

AI-powered ChatNational helps teams more efficiently deliver insights, enhanced quality and more meaningful client experiences

One year ago, PwC US launched ChatNational, a GenAI-powered research tool built specifically for the use of our assurance professionals. By leveraging ChatNational, our teams can more efficiently deliver insights, enhanced quality and more meaningful client experiences.  

In its first year, ChatNational: 

• supported more than 17,000 professionals;  

• answered more than 350,000 questions;  

• expanded beyond the US firm to 33 countries. 

ChatNational seamlessly integrates with Viewpoint, our global research platform, to bring together a powerful suite of resources for our audit and attest professionals. Utilizing Azure OpenAI’s GPT-4 and Microsoft Azure, ChatNational elevates research capabilities for our people by providing AI-generated responses to questions based on PwC’s accounting, auditing and reporting guidance.
