PwC rated as a Leader for Global Cybersecurity Consulting

PwC recognised for “demonstrating that its unique Intellectual Property led to successful client engagements” by Forrester Research

PwC has been cited as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Global Cybersecurity Consulting Providers, Q2 2019.

On consulting firms that provide global cybersecurity consulting services, Forrester notes that “asset-based consulting and alternative delivery models are key differentiators.”

The report states that: “PwC shines with Intellectual Property-based consulting enhanced by delivery teams. PwC recognised earlier than its competitors that it could win clients by demonstrating that its unique Intellectual Property led to successful client engagements.”

It further notes that “PwC has a robust innovation program that allows consultants to create new ideas and enroll in an internal incubator. If accepted, winners eschew delivery responsibilities as they iterate on new services to make them enterprise ready, find product/market fit, and roll them out to the consulting organisation.”

Commenting on finding and retaining talent, clients mentioned “that they experienced fewer turnovers with PwC personnel than other firms they worked with. Clients also highlighted that PwC’s teams included consultants with expertise in multiple areas and integrated smoothly with a variety of the clients’ internal teams.”

Mohamed Kande, Global Advisory Leader, PwC US, said: “We are thrilled that PwC is recognised as a leader in cybersecurity consulting services by Forrester Research. In our view, this is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the great strides we've made in building our capabilities and serving our clients. To be leading today in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) consulting, security strategy consulting, incident response, and implementation services, shows the commitment of our people and the trust of our clients.

“We'll continue to invest in our cybersecurity and privacy services and talent—remaining a trusted advisor to the Boards, C-suite executives, and stakeholders across our clients in their most vulnerable times. Our priorities remain to help clients secure their digital transformation initiatives, create organisational resilience, and derive risk and business value from data. With this remarkable recognition, our teams will continue to execute on those priorities knowing that we're making a difference in our mission to build trust in a digital economy.”
