Henry Essert joins firm's insurance risk practice
In his new role, Essert will lead the insurance risk practice, where he will apply his four decades of experience in risk management and consulting to lead high profile client projects across life, P&C and health payor segments.

Prior to joining PwC, Essert served as managing director at BlackRock where he led the insurance sector initiatives for the financial markets advisory business. He also held leadership positions at Ernst & Young, MetLife and Oliver Wyman. Essert earned his Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in mathematics from McMaster University. He is a fellow within the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
