HARTFORD, Conn., October 3, 2013 – PwC US has named Neil G. Mitchill, Jr. Products and Services Assurance Leader of the firm's Hartford office. Mitchill will oversee the professional services firm’s products and services assurance practice in its Hartford, Connecticut office, which audits 40 percent of all publicly traded companies in Greater Hartford. The office’s full assurance practice includes 14 partners and 232 staff and anticipates hiring approximately 40 additional staff by the end of the year.

Mitchill, who brings more than 16 years of experience to his new role, will also continue to serve global, multinational industrial products clients with his broad-based knowledge in the areas of complex business transactions and SEC regulations and filings.
Mitchill graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Providence College and is a certified public accountant in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Georgia, and Florida. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He currently serves as an executive board member and audit committee chair for Xavier High School in Middletown, CT.
