Omoike W Obawaeki

Omoike is currently on secondment with the Africa Tax Group in the Houston office. Omoike has worked for PwC for more than 11 years, with over 3 years in the United States. Prior to his secondment, he worked with PwC Nigeria for more than 8 years advising local and multinational companies investing in Nigeria, including entrance strategy, tax restructuring and due diligence, tax health check on IPO, tax planning for mergers and acquisitions, negotiation with tax authorities on various matters including tax concession and investigations. His knowledge and experience have been focused on the Energy (Oil and Gas), Power, Banking and Manufacturing industries in Africa.

Omoike’s structuring experience includes tax efficient holding and financing company structures, tax efficient profits/returns on investment repatriation and other tax planning alternatives that create solutions for groups investing in Africa.
